The owners of a traditional 1960's four bedroom ranch desired that their family home be updated to welcome their adult kids back with the grand kids. Starting with a new covered entry the entry hall was opened by removing the existing walls to share the stairway volume for a more open plan and an adjacent new home office. The new gourmet kitchen with a food prep island and aquarium was a must with site lines to the new family room. Widening all the door ways to create better flow would allow for the growing family’s gatherings. Adding numerous windows in all rooms to share their beautiful lush garden property was an easy improvement for all to enjoy.
